SSC MTS vacancies out for 2019


SSC MTS Notification 2019 has been released on April 22, 2019. The exam will be conducted in two stages – Paper 1 (CBT) and Paper 2 (PBT). This year, Paper 1 is scheduled from August 2 - September 6 while Paper 2 will be held on November 17, 2019.

SSC or Staff Selection Commission conducts Multi-Tasking Staff Exam (MTS) every year in 3 different stages:
  • Paper 1 and
  • Descriptive Test
  • Skill Test

Steps for One-time Registration:
  1. Go to the official page: ssc.nic.in
  2. Click on “Register Now” in the Login section.
  3. Enter your Basic Details followed by Additional Details and Contact Details step by step as prompted.
  4. Upload the scanned images of your photograph and signature.

SSC MTS Recruitment 2019 Application fee

  1. The SSC MTS Application Fee is Rs. 100/- and can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
  2. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of application fee.
  3. Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to May 31, 2019 (5.00 PM). However, candidates who wish to make the cash payment through Challan of SBI may make the payment in cash at the Branches of SBI within the working hours of bank up to June 1, 2019, provided the Challan has been generated by them before May 31, 2019 (5.00 PM).

How do we know there are Billions of Galaxies? Our universe contains at least two trillion galaxies – 10 times more than we thought. Astronomers led by Christopher Conselice at the University of Nottingham in the UK converted “pencil beam” images of deep space stretching some 13 billion light-years into 3-D maps, allowing them to calculate the density of galaxies in that volume. This latest analysis uses mathematical models to estimate the number of both visible and hidden galaxies in snapshots like Hubble's famous Deep Field image.
